about me/contact me

A director of music videos, turned screenwriter (and a lover of film from an early age), Greg studied filmmaking at CSU in New South Wales, where he was chosen to conceive and helm an official music video for legendary prog-rocker (and former Yes keyboardist) Rick Wakeman, for his 1985 single Glory Boys. It received prime-time airplay on UK television that same year.

After graduating, Greg moved to South Australia, where he cut his teeth editing, shooting and directing dozens of promos and industrial films. During this time he also directed music videos for a number of local indie bands, which screened both in his native Australia and across Europe. Several of these were highly regarded; winning various awards.

In the ensuing years, Greg has focused primarily on screenwriting; having written over twenty spec feature scripts; some of which have received high praise from film companies in Hollywood. In more recent times, Greg has been collaborating with independent Melbourne-based writer/director Matthew Holmes (Twin Rivers, The Legend of Ben Hall) on a number of feature screenplays, one of which – the crime drama The Cost is currently in production (and due for release in 2022). The pair also have another two feature projects in development; a psychological horror film and a shark movie – both of which are planned to go into production in 2022.

Greg is currently seeking representation.

Unfortunately, all my videos were made in the 1990s in the pre-digital era. There are a couple on the net – but they have been digitised from low quality VHS tapes people have recorded themselves off-air. So I’m kinda’ reluctant to point them out. But I am looking at getting all my clips digitised from the original master tapes in order to maintain the quality. Once I do this I will definitely be posting them here so people will be able to see them. Thanks for asking! 🙂
